We are a boutique service specialising in the organisation and co-ordination of a huge range of different types of tradespeople.
We decided the best way to assure our customers of getting a good quality tradesman was to INVITE trades to join us, so that we could then match them to the jobs we received.
By doing this we can assure our clients that we only recommend trades we know that have pride in their business, that genuinely care about what they do and want the work.

Our administration team contact the tradesman as each job comes to us. That tradesman then has the option of accepting or rejecting the work. There is no cost to accept or reject a lead. Our tradesmen do not pay for leads.

How do I become a subscribed tradesman?
Contact us to tell us why you would like to be part of our network. Include your experience, your profession, insurance details and reason for wanting to join.
What is your point of difference?
Hire A Tradesman’s point of difference is that we don’t just take on as many tradesmen as we can. We don’t list your business on our website. Clients come to use because we send them trades that we personally recommend.
If we send someone a tradesman that doesn’t do the right thing – that client will not use us again.
We stake our reputation on you – so if you don’t do the right thing by us, we won’t’ use you.
Yes. There is a monthly or annual subscription fee that goes towards marketing and advertising for you. As we do not accept all tradespeople we ask that you contact us to discuss costs.
Hire a Tradesman also received a 10% referral fee from each job we send you. We ask all our subscribed trades to reduce their fees by 10% so that when the 10% referral fee is included in the quote, all quotes remain competitive. The volume of work our trades receive quickly covers this 10% discount.
We currently service Victoria but will soon be Australia wide.

The trades we use and recommend do not charge to quote.
There are 2 types of jobs we will send you.
1 – Private jobs. You quote and invoice the client direct and they pay you. We invoice you for 10% of the job totals at the end of the month. You only pay the 10% referral fee on the jobs you have won.
2 – Real Estate Agents. We ask you to contact the tenants to arrange a time to quote. You send your quote direct to Hire A Tradesman. We then send the quote direct to the Real Estate Agent. Hire A Tradesman engages you and pays you on completion of the work.
What if we are not happy with Hire A Tradesman?
You can unsubscribe from a monthly contract at any time, paying one month in advance.
Yearly fees are non refundable
